Decoherence in quantum random walk

Abstract: 

We present an analytical derivation for the properties of the quantum random walk on a ring. Then we study how decoherence in the coin and position space, affects these properties. For the decoherence we use a model like complete depolarization, that is at each time step, there is a probability that the coin and the quantum random walker loose their memory altogether.
